It's December!

December is my favorite month of the year! I like it even better than May, which is saying something since May is Mother's Day, our wedding anniversary, and of course, my BIRTHDAY! December is awesome because everyone and everything is festive. I love all the fun activities and traditions.

One tradition that was different for us this year was the Yardley Christmas Parade. Usually we sit on the grass right out front of our house with hot chocolate and blankets and visit with all of our neighbors as the parade goes by. This year, since we moved out of Yardley Boro and into a neighborhood, we were worried we wouldn't be able to keep this tradition in our family. Luckily, our awesome neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Posey, invited us to their house for the parade and we still had the best time doing all of the things we've done in the past - hot chocolate, blankets, neighbors, etc.

Tom and Gail Posey have this amazing wooden sleigh on their front porch. Ella is getting her Santa hat on and snuggling next to the elephant in preparation for the parade...

And, of course, if Ella does something, her sisters tend to follow...
