Kendall started the game by announcing "Play Ball..."
The two yellow ducks on the screen are actually Ella and Brooklyn doing the "Duck Dance Off" for everyone's entertainment between innings...
Hudson and his best buddy, Ryker, got to play the "Trash Race" sponsored by Waste Management where they had to empty out their "garbage bags" full of garbage into the garbage cans. The first one done wins! Hudson beat Ryker by just a few seconds...
Sugar and Jim surprised the kids by arriving in PA in time to celebrate Kendall's 9th birthday. They had no idea and the suprise was awesome. I told them we were driving to the King of Prussia mall an hour away. They were watching a movie in the car until we arrived at the PA airport with me exclaiming I'd made a wrong turn and explaining I had to pull over to bring up directions on my phone. While we were stopped Kendall looked out the side window just as Sugar and Jim were walking by my car and said, "oh my gosh mom, they look just like Sugar and Jim." I acted surprised and everyone turned to look, too. Then we all started saying it did indeed look just like Sugar and Jim. I told Kendall to jump out and go see. Just as she was getting closer to them she realized it really WAS Sugar and Jim and yelled so loud until they turned around and saw her running to them. Then everyone jumped out of the car and tackled them both with hugs. The kids were so mad at me for keeping it a secret!
On Kendall's 9th birthday, we took Sugar and Jim to the beach for a day of sand, water, relaxation, and pizza!...
So, this is what nine-years-old looks like for this girl...
And another trip to the beach with friends and kids a week later to celebrate Cara's birthday... Nicole Smith, Cara Warnick, Jamie Chiapelli, Amanda Sherwood, and me...
