Morris Arboretum

Oh, I long for the day when the weather is nice enough to take the girls back to the Morris Arboretum. We had so much fun in September wandering around the gardens looking at all of the trees, flowers, and fun children's exhibits. The girls loved following the map and getting stamps at all of the major sites. Kendall enjoyed sleeping in her car seat the entire time we were there.

One day, the sun will shine again, the trees will be green and the flowers will dare to show their colorful faces. For now, I guess we'll continue putting on all 18 layers of clothing just to get the mail.

Reading the map and figuring out where to go next.
Up in the trees looking for birds.
Kendall was four weeks old. She woke up once to eat. Love that.
Can you see the girls climbing the tree?
Ella didn't make it too far before deciding she was a little scared of heights.
Brooklyn's listening for magnified forest sounds.
This bee hive looking thing is made entirely of sticks.
Not sure what Brooklyn is looking at on this plant, but the fact that it's green, alive, and not covered in snow makes me happy.
Ahhhh, the sun was shining.
