Thanksgiving 2011

Well, once again I failed to get pictures of our Thanksgiving. This year I even set my camera out on the counter so I wouldn't forget, and sure enough, I forgot. Thanks to Shelley, who captured the moments that I missed. What would I do without her every Thanksgiving? The only problem is... she and Layne aren't in any of them. Way to go, Shelley.

It was nothing but good times and laughter, as usual, with Shelley, Layne and Connor here, who drove down from New Jersey. And this year we had the great pleasure of welcoming another guest to our group... one of Ryan's co-workers, and my new friend, Rhonda.

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday. Easy, no-fuss, friends and family time wrapped all together in a thankful spirit. Gotta love that!

I've said it before... I love Connor. He is awesome, and my girls love nothing more than to be chased by him around the yard.

 Of course, having him teach them how to fish is great, too.

 And I wonder why I never get dinner made... It's hard to move around a kitchen (even one as small as ours) when you've got a 15 month old attached to your leg!
