Field Day 2015

Orange against Black. Brooklyn against Ella. It was a scary day, and I knew there had to be a loser. Unfortunately, it was Brooklyn's team Black and boy did she sob the whole way home from the bus stop as if her favorite lipgloss had been stolen. Soooo dramatic!! Luck for her (well, really all of us) I had S'mores planned for our after-dinner dessert and that seemed to put a stop to the tears.

Check out how high in the air Brooklyn is in the sack. Okay, you can't really tell in this picture, but trust me, she's awesome at this game...

Soooo, until we get that fire pit built, we'll settle for a tin bucket with coals on a roasting pan on our back porch. As long as there's marshmallow, chocolate and graham crackers, we're happy...
