Longwood Gardens for the Day

Another beautiful Saturday that we put to good use at Longwood Gardens. I love this place. Aside from the fact that it's a beautiful garden with so many diverse garden areas, there's lots for the kids to do... hiking trails to walk along, treehouses to climb and play in, an indoor and outdoor children's garden with water to get wet. It's just so fun and although we spent several hours there, we didn't even see and do everything they have to offer. Luckily, we have a season pass.

Sitting on a tree branch taking a break...

Pausing for a picture while on one of the nature hikes...

Okay, so the kids are cute, right, but the cool part is the huge ball hanging in the background. It's a living sphere and it was huge and really so cool...

Since when do seven-year-olds and almost five-year-olds ride in strollers? Where's the kid that's actually SUPPOSED to be in there? Why won't he ever just stay in there?...

Ella looks happy... I look happy... it's a good day...

Kendall loved holding the snails Ella was finding for her in the lake...

Brooklyn was so paranoid that Hudson was going to fall into the lake while trying to catch one of the big bull frogs, that she refused to let go of him...

These are my favorite fountains at Longwood. Oh, hey look, these are also my favorite people at Longwood, too ...
