Brooklyn's Baptism Day

The big day finally arrived - Brooklyn has been waiting EIGHT years for this. She was happy, giddy, and seemed to me, a little nervous (although she assured me she was just fine). It was such a special day for Brooklyn and one I hope she always remembers.

Brooklyn got to share her special day with one of her Primary friends, Lisa Bartholomew...

We are so grateful for the Murrays for coming for Brooklyn's baptism! Ella, Zachary, Brooklyn, Kendall, Matthew, Abby, Hudson and Josh getting ready to head to church...

After Brooklyn's baptism, we had about 65 friends and family join us for a celebration luncheon at our house. It was crazy, but fun. We had Mexican food...

Yay, it's the New Jersey Asays. Shelley and Layne are the best, and Brooklyn LOVED the new shirt and shorts they brought her. "Nothing But Awesome" pretty much describes Miss B!...

It was so fun for me to search through all of my old pictures of Brooklyn... ahhh, the memories! I love this little ball of energy!...

I don't think my sign on the chalkboard - "Chose the Right" - mattered much when the kids saw the dessert table - Shelley's cookies, Sugar's chocolate sheet cake, and apple crisp - were gone in a flash!...

These fun bright colors make me happy. Love how the tables turned out!...

Some of Brooklyn's favorite candy was loaded into jars and then loaded into little kids' bellies throughout the celebration. If that wasn't enough sugar for them, they all took loads of candy home with them. I'm sure their parents were so happy about that!...
