Kendall is officially a published author. Her brilliant teacher at school had all of the kids in the class write and illustrate a story about what they would do if they could catch a star. Then she had all of the stories published in a book for each of the students, and a copy made for the school library. When the books arrived, she invited the parents and school librarian in for a Publishing Party. At the party, the kids opened their new books and read their stories to the guests. It was such a cute and thoughtful idea.

It was also Dr. Seuss week. Kendall invited me to her Reading Cafe where we munched on cookies and milk while she read stories to me...
