We had the greatest time walking around the Canadian and American sides and taking a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist, walking right under the Falls on Cave of the Winds, visiting the Aquarium, and watching the movie detailing the history and those who have gone over the Falls.
We ate at some of the most interesting places on our trip... this one included. At least the food was good...
The view of downtown Corning on our way to the museum...
Panoramic picture of our hiking spot. A funny story - On our way back down the mountain we decided to walk along the upper falls trail. As we were walking, we had to stop to get a rock out of Hudson's shoe. Stupid me, I set his shoe down on the trail fence and guess what happened? Yep, his shoe fell over the fence, rolled down the hill and over the edge of the cliff, just below the waterfall. All we could do was watch it go. So, with Hudson on Ryan's shoulders, Ella and I backtracked to the other side of the waterfalls and down the trail we came up to try and find his shoe. Guess what? We found it just below the waterfalls. I will never live that story down.
The amazing view from our hotel window in Canada...
Touring the Canadian side of the Falls. Did you know Niagara Falls encompasses three waterfalls - The American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls...
Riding on the Maid of the Mist and getting soaked by the falls...
Getting soaked again at Cave of the Winds...
Kendall, having wriggled her tooth out an hour earlier, decided (with much parental persuasion) to make a wish and toss her tooth over the big Horseshoe Falls. It was a very exciting and memorable moment! Here she is holding it up before chucking it over...
One last look at the Falls...
