Mother's Day and Preschool Graduation

We are all a little anxious around here to get this school year over with so we can start having some summer fun. Unfortunately, we've still got a few weeks to go given the number of snow days we had this winter.

Lucky Hudson... he graduated from his last year of preschool at St. Andrews a month before his sisters finish.  He ended the year with a cute little Mother's Day program for all the moms outside on the school playground, and then a week later, another musical program as part of his graduation ceremony. He had the best teachers this year and learned so much. Every morning he would jump out of my car, run across the cemetery path, and run straight through those open red doors as happy and excited for each new day of learning as the one before. He loved school this year!

And I'm surprised to say I'm going to miss this little school where ten years ago Ella started her first year of preschool at just three years old. We've been there ever since with all four kids for a total of ten years! Crazy how time flies!

Feeling special as Hudson sang to me at their Mother's Day program...

The cool sunglasses were part of the show...

Happy graduation time! Getting one last hug from Mrs. Laughead
and a diploma from Mrs. Condie...

Apparently, I forgot to tell Hudson the tradition of throwing his cap in the air after graduation, but he caught on quick...

It's been a year of growing and I'm so grateful Hudson had these ten amazing, kind, funny, talented, smart classmates and friends, as well as two amazing teachers, to do it with!...

Peace out preschool...

So proud of my cute boy...
