Brooklyn and her 5th grade class have been learning about immigration and the stories of Ellis Island. So naturally, the 5th grade field trip was to Ellis Island to see for themselves what it was like to be a newly arrived immigrant with hopes and dreams of becoming Americans. The day was beautiful and Brooklyn and her group of friends kept the day full of fun and laughter from start to finish!
