Ella Turns 14!!

Holy cow... I swear this girl's birthday comes around more than once a year. She just keeps getting older so much faster than anyone else and I hate it! Already 14!? Seriously, ENOUGH!

Ella is such a sweetheart in every way! Aside from being a second mom to everyone in the house (and helping me with my breathing exercises when I get so angry and frustrated with other people in the house), she is our straight A student, tech savvy guru, spiritual giant, homework tutor, rule follower, book worm, apple juice addict, very capable of everything girl! We love her to pieces!

We were in Wellsboro visiting the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania on her birthday so we had her birthday dinner at a very old historical hotel/restaurant in the town. It wasn't Cheesecake Factory or anything, but it the historical significance of the place was pretty cool.

For her birthday party, Ella invited a few of her friends to a cooking class at our local grocery store. They helped make fresh salsa, guacamole, tortilla chips, chicken fajitas, and decorated cupcakes. It was fun and different. After the cooking class, the party moved to our house for a movie, popcorn, and more treats.

A cute little Sugar-made pencil case for school...

Our favorite envelopes to receive from Grandma and Grandpa Asay that are always decorated so cute...

Four new books!... and candy to much on while reading...

And money from Grandpa Pomeroy who passed away in April, and aunts...

The girls decorated their own aprons before starting the cooking class...
