COVID - 19: May Happenings

Still here... still isolating... still homeschooling... still riding bikes... still going on lots of walks... still celebrating milestones at home... still staying safe.

Appreciation for our teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day was expressed virtually with writing assignments like this one from Hudson...

Hudson's Science in the Sink project...

Kendall's art assignment out of recyclables...

Hudson writing about the fun he had camping in the backyard...

Another fun night with a Family Bake-off. Ryan, Ella and Brooklyn thought they had Kendall, Hudson and me beat with their chocolately, cookie, marshmallowy bites. They didn't think a fruity cream pop could be so good!...

The kids got creative in their hammock making!...

The kids discover a nest full of eggs built inside a small wooden box in our treehouse...

And of course May is the best time of the year because it's our wedding anniversary (19 years baby!), Mother's Day, and my birthday (44, yikes!) all wrapped up into one perfect month. We celebrated all three at home, of course, and Ella and Brooklyn made sure each day was special by decorating and baking yummy goodies for us all to enjoy...

A few more funny memes that are putting all of our lives into perspective...
