For the kids this has been the best winter they can remember in a very long time. We've had several major snowstorms which has left the ground covered in feet of snow for weeks and weeks! The kids have spent every spare minute of every day outside enjoying it with their friends and neighbors, coming back inside only when it's pitch black outside and they are cold and soaked through. The sledding on our backyard hill has been awesome and the snowmen and snow forts have gotten bigger and bigger every day! I LOVE this time my kids have had to spend with their friends!

You can never have too many snowballs in a snowball fight! Those snowball makers are amazing!...

Cutie-pie Danica walking back up our backyard hill after a fun trip down. She likes to leave her sled at the bottom of the hill and hope that one of the older kids will bring it back up for her...

Looks like a crash course of kids and sleds down the hill...
That's a lot of fresh powder just waiting for footprints, snow angels, or maybe a shovel...
The story of Hudson's life when he's got better things to do like play in the snow...
So grateful Kendall, Brooklyn and Ella don't even bother to ask me about math anymore...
Our amazing neighbor and friend, Rich Kwasny, and his dog, Josie, snowblowing our sidewalk...
Our biggest snowman yet! Had to get out a ladder to get the eyes, nose and mouth on this one...
The snowman dream team...

A six-kid snow train down the mountain was a great idea...
