Primary Halloween Party

Friday night Ella had her Valiant 8 Primary class over for a little Halloween party shin-dig. We made mummy dogs, ate pumpkin poop, Frankenstein barf, spider eggs, and drank vampire blood. Then we played all sorts of festive games. It was lots of fun and the kids were all so sweet and nice. We might have to make this a yearly tradition!

While we were taking turns making our mummy dogs, the kids played SPOOK, which is Halloween Bingo… The Statue of Liberty (Olivia), Harry Potters (Christian and Charlie), Cleopatra (Ella), Witch (Emma, my helper), Sophia the First (Kendall), Kambree, Dorothy (Brooklyn), Head (Hudson)…
 Wrapping up their mummy dogs…
Kendall's mummies were wrapped up nice and cozy and ready for the oven…
Some of our food… veggies with Frankenstein barf (veggie dip), mini pumpkins (oranges), spider eggs (powdered sugar donut holes), pumpkin poop (cheese puffs)…
Charlie and Christian thought they won the pumpkin bowling contest down our driveway. Looks like Hudson was the judge…
I'm loving the mummy wrapping job over Brooklyn's face… hmmm, gives me an idea of how to keep her quite sometimes…
Emma did a great job wrapping Kendall, who can't hold still for more than one second…
Olivia and Ella had this wrapping thing down to a science. They were awesome!…
I think Kambree wins this round for most thorough wrap job, although Kendall looks impressive in the background…
I'm telling you, these two should do this for a living… for the dead…
Thanks Hudson, you're a big help to Kendall who was trying her best to wrap Emma…
Hmmm, Charlie and Christian really struggled with this game. They couldn't keep the toilet paper from breaking…
Brooklyn did her best to wrap Kambree…
This game was kinda like a water balloon toss over the couch only without the water, and they had to catch the balloons with their party hats instead of their hands…
This game the kids had to shoot down the ghosts with their water guns. No surprise that the boys won every round…
Our last game was Vampires After Dark, which is kinda like hide-and-go-seek, and you play it in the dark. It would have been really fun to play it outside, but it was REALLY dark outside and I didn't want the kids getting run over by their parents when they came to get picked up. So we turned most of the lights off in the house and let the older kids (Brooklyn and Kendall were too scared so played pin-the-hat-on-the-witch instead) play the game.
