the snow has finally arrived

We've been waiting all winter long for some snow so we could go sledding down our backyard hill, build a few snowmen in our front yard, and cause a little trouble with a snow ball fight. And finally, the snow arrived. Friday night we got a few inches and we're supposed to end up with another foot by tomorrow night. It's nothing but soggy wet snow gear and hot chocolate for the next few days! Yahoo!

These four were working hard building snow caves and snowmen. The snow and cold don't seem to bother them much, and it takes hot chocolate to get them to finally come in... 

Ella has no clue it's freezing cold and she's soaking wet. She will spend endless hours out in the snow regardless...

Ryan was busy shoveling our driveway. Hudson had just come inside and taken off most of his snow gear when I grabbed him and made him come back outside with me so I could get some pictures (hence the pjs) ...
