Chillin' at the Beach

Oh man!!! We had the MOST glorious day at the beach with my mom, Jim and girlfriends. The weather was insanely perfect and the kids played for hours and hours with each other until it was finally time to head home.

Brooklyn's jumping the waves. She tried boogie boarding, but I think it was a bit too scary for her still...

Hudson and his best buddies, Kate and Ryker spent a good part of the day jumping from boogie board to boogie board...

Kendall LOVES the sand and water. She literally just rolls around in the sand without a care in the world of how hard it's going to be to get the sand out of certain places. We were still trying to wash the sand off her scalp days later... 

Kendall had fun with her best buddy Henry and Lisey...

Ella spent most of the day with her friends Allison and Tori riding the waves on their boogie boards. Ella's getting better and braver, and kept getting farther out in the water. I was freaking out because I'd watched way too many episodes of Shark Week at the cabin... 

Oh how Hudson will miss his best buddy this school year...

Hudson is finally starting to enjoy the water. We ran down the shore with the waves and ran back up the shore as they were chasing us. He still doesn't like having sand on his hands though, and spent a great deal of time washing them off in the "hand washing bucket."...

Kate was entertainment all day. She had fun sitting inside this pink bucket...

Hudson found the goggles...
