Kendall Turns Five!

Saturday night, after Kendall's Jake and the Never Land Pirates party and clean-up, we went all went out for her birthday dinner. Now, I feel kinda guilty because we feel very strongly that it should be the birthday girl's decision about where she wants to go for her special dinner, and believe me we've been to some interesting places, but Ryan and I (and Sugar and Jim) just could not stomach Chick-fil-a one more time.

So, after much debate and persuasion, we convinced Kendall to pick Macaroni Grill - BUT, we promised her we'd stop by Chick-fil-a on the way home and pick her up the biggest pack of chicken fingers they had to eat for lunch after church on Sunday. See, win win for everyone.

After dinner we opened her family gifts, rather than wait till her real birthday on Sunday, because Ryan and I both had meetings on Sunday and we were afraid we wouldn't get another chance.

Five $1 bills from GG and GPa Pomeroy...

She was so excited to get her own Push Pillow from Grandma and Grandpa Asay...

This girl is very expressive with her face and hands...

I love how both Ella and Brooklyn are helping Kendall open her Elsa and Mermaid Barbie dolls from Grandma Sugar and Jim...

Kendall picked out this $5 inflatable unicorn pool floaty at Five Below for me and Ryan to give her for her birthday. Yes, we are big spenders!...

 Counting her five dollars...

Feeling super blessed to have this little munchkin in our family...

Kendall accidentally slipped off Mermaid Barbie's fin...

Who needs a pool to enjoy a unicorn inflatable pool toy?! It's perfect as a lounge chair, too...

Hudson and Tic Tock Crock have become good friends, too...

At Kendall's 5 year appointment she is:
41.5 inches tall (32%)
Weighs 35.5 pounds (20%)
And looks perfect in every other way!
