We were so excited when Ryan decided to order us two fishings poles. What we weren't as excited about was assembling them for usage. What a pain in the rear!! A YouTube video and 30 minutes of frustration standing in the sweltering heat, they were finally ready for the kids to test out. The first cast lost us our bobbin, hook, weight, and another 10 minutes of sweating. The second go round was better and all-in-all Brooklyn caught one itty bitty fish on our first fishing adventure. The important part was the kids had fun!

Removing the hook from the fish's mouth was always the hardest part for me. Oh, and hooking on the worm. Yuck...
