End of Year School Events

The end of the school year is always chock full of activities and events. Field trips, graduations, picnics, awards ceremonies, orchestra concerts, art shows, spirit week, field day, etc. It's never ending fun to kill the last two weeks of class time. Here's what our last events of the 2017 school year looked like...

Hudson's preschool graduation program...

All three girls had art pieces selected for the District Art Show... Ella's was a 3-D clay cupcake. Hers is the yellow one with the cherry on top...

Brooklyn had a paper mosaic

Spirit week... the kids dressed up as their favorite book character. Ella and Brooklyn are obvious, Harry Potter characters, of course. Kendall is Ivy from the book series Ivy and Bean, which is Ryan's favorite book series. They read it together every night and I think he likes it even more than Kendall does...

 Field Day... The kids are more interested in having their shirts autographed by their classmates than actually playing the sporting events...

5th grade celebration...

First grade picnic (I failed to get one of Brooklyn and her friends at the 3rd grade picnic)...

Awards ceremony. Ella won the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence along with several other awards including Math Olympiad top 40, Reading Olympics and Honors Orchestra, etc. We were beyond proud of her and all she has accomplished this year!!...
