Boy, those barn doors took some time but they are perfect!...
We love Aunt Shelley!...
All four walls are up and reading for siding...
How's the view from that window?...
Hudson helped me stain the barn doors. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way they looked even more with stain on them...
And then I painted them and didn't like them as much, darn it! Oh well, they still look cool...
Back side of doors...
Siding is going up, kids are painting, and Ryan and Layne are talking numbers and measurements for the roof. That part took FOREVER, but you would not believe how perfect the beams are!...
Painting crew is on the job...
Half way through this treehouse project and Ryan decides to buy a miter saw. BEST PURCHASE EVER!! I only wish he would have bought it at the beginning of this project...
What do you think of the inside color?
Phase 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 done. Phases 11-500 up next, which includes adding the tin roof, barn doors, railing, and staining the deck and stairs! Then we'll be ready to add all the fun stuff like the slide, zip line, rope swing, etc. =-)
