Arizona Summer 2018

A quick wrap up of our two weeks in Arizona. Same awesome blissfulness and fun. Good food, best cousins, golf, tennis, rain storms, sewing and crafting, movie nights, popcorn, homemade ice cream, zip lines, softball games. Here's just a snapshot of our good time...

A quick swim at the Felstead's house with Ella, Presley, Brooklyn, Brody, Kendall, Cave, Hudson, Blake, Sugar, and Aunt Lisa before meeting up with Uncle Jeremy and Uncle H.C. for lunch...

Our annual day trip to Sunrise Ski Resort to ride the chairlift up and hike down the mountain with the Felsteads, Sugar and Jim. The weather was really sketchy and we were worried we were going to get caught in a downpour, but we made it up and down just in time before the heaven's opened and the rain began...

Brooklyn and Berkeley...

Don't tell Sugar that Ella is a few inches taller than her... she doesn't want to believe it...

This boy has so much personality. I can't get enough of him...

It's looking like rain...

A little green hoppy friend we found along the way...

Felstead Family...

Ryan joined us for the weekend before flying back to PA to work...

Sugar and Jim...

Brody leading the way for Ella and Sugar...

Ready for the golf clinic. Brooklyn, Presley, Ella, Ava, Berkley, and Kendall. Lookin' good ladies...

These two are so cute together. They have so much fun and have such similar easy going, happy personalities. I love that they're cousins who try really hard not to care about what their other cousins say about them, but wish they got to hang out together more often. I'm afraid one day soon they are going to claim that boys and girls don't play together...

Kendall makes new girlfriends every summer, and this year was no different. Madison and Eva became good playdate friends while we were in Pinetop...

Hudson and Blake are hilarious together....

BINGO night at the country club this year was a huge success. Three out of the four Asay kids won prizes. Hudson was crying on the last bingo card of the night because he hadn't won anything. He had ONE more number on his last bingo card to win. When they announced it, I jumped up and yelled, "you won, Hudson." He didn't even realize it cause he was crying about NOT winning anything. He ended up winning a brand new bike, which we traded in for a gift card cause how the heck do you get a bike home on an airplane?...

Brooklyn won a really cool game called "Escape the Room." The kids played it at the cabin for hours and loved it...

Kendall WAS SO EXCITED about her electric scooter. We took it back to the store, got a gift card, then ordered the exact same thing online. It arrived on our doorstep in PA the day we got home from AZ...

Blake was also a Bingo winner. He turned in his bike for a new skateboard and helmet. Hudson's giving the skateboard a try...

Blake on his new skateboard sporting his new helmet...

The Wood Family all set and ready for the golf tournament to begin...

Ava and Brooklyn getting on their game faces for the golf tournament...

Rec center crafts. These wine cork American flags turned out so cute...

Kendall won third place in the girls one-hole. Way to go Kendall. Her best buddy Madison got first place...

Stopping by to visiting Grandpa Pomeroy and bring him lunch. He's 98!...

Lucky for us our flight from AZ back to PA was cancelled so we got to spend another day with family. We ended up going to the lake on the Felstead's boat. The kids LOVE the lake hand they all tried wake boarding and Ella tried surfing. All four went cliff jumping, too. The first time Hudson was scared to death but really wanted to try doing it. He landed and got water up his nose. The second time was much better and then he loved it...

It was 114 degrees outside and the water was WARM... just the way I like it for swimming...

The "couch" is a bumpy fun ride...
