fall soccer begins

Fall soccer season began this weekend and it was a wet one! Playing soccer in the rain is probably fun; however, and unfortunately, it didn't help Kendall, Hudson or Brooklyn win their games. They all played great games though! It's going to be a busy season!

Kendall's purple jersey team has decided to call themselves the Royals...

Hudson's orange team hasn't chosen a name yet, but we are pretty excited about the color (orange is a favorite around here for obvious (ahem, Denver Bronco) reasons. Hudson played hard the whole game and had several close goals, but that ball just would not go in the net. His teammates weren't much help either. They were still trying to figure out which way to go on the field... 

Pictures of Brooklyn in her soccer uniform coming soon. Brooklyn's soccer team is amazing. They are all really good and aggressive, and while they lost their first game, they played against the number one team. So, something interesting that happened at her game that's never happened before is the opposing team's two coaches got into a yelling match with the referee and one of them got kicked out of the game. It was hilarious and embarrassing. The ref was kinda a jerk the whole game, too, and yelled at the parents to, "stop calling my game," whenever he'd miss a call and the parents would shout out, "off sides, ref" or something like that. It was quite an exciting match...
