Aladdin was absolutely SOOOOO good!! It was hilarious, too, and with all the sword fighting, singing and beautiful costumes and scenery there was so much for the eyes and ears to enjoy! I was worried when we bought the tickets that Hudson would get bored or too tired to sit through the whole thing, but every time I looked over at him he was on the edge of his seat laughing his head off. Even when the show ended and we were walking out Ryan said he was nervous what the others thought of Hudson laughing so loud and so much throughout the whole show! I was so excited it all worked out!
After the show we went back to our teeny tiny hotel rooms (we had to split up into two rooms to fit) and crashed. The kids didn't have school on Thursday, so we stayed in the city for a few hours visiting the Disney store, Magnolia Bakery, and The American Girl Doll Store until we were all soaked clean through from the unending downpour. So we grabbed lunch and headed back to the train station and home to our nice dry house, warm showers and dry clothes!
Despite the rain, we had such a fun time. Aladdin was definitely a show to remember!
A whole wall of Super Heroes! Every six-year-olds dream...
Times Square!...
Hudson and his eyebrows. They're hilarious...
BBQ dinner at Virgils...
Next time we visit NYC we might have to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. We've got four Harry Potter fans in the family now!...
A bit challenging to get the sign AND our faces to show up right...
We've got our popcorn and treats and are ready for the show to begin...
The rain was crazy on Thursday! We were so soaked to the bone...
A little time with Disney princesses...
and Storm Troopers...
