Wood Family Christmas - Nashville, Tennessee

We left Gatlinburg and drove another four hours to Nashville, Tennessee where we checked into the amazingly huge and gorgeous Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel. This place was incredible, had four different wings with a full tropical jungle in every wing, a lake with boat tours, an indoor water park (which the kids LOVED!!), restaurants, shopping, etc, and it was totally decked out for Christmas. We could have stayed inside the hotel the entire time and not been able to see and do everything the hotel offered! However, we had a blast in downtown Nashville, too, and loved people-watching, eating good food, and listening to the musicians play at each and every doorway...

Eating a quick breakfast in our hotel courtyard...

Ella rockclimbing in the arcade...

Overlooking the indoor river and boat on another wing of the hotel...

Like a little mini Belagio fountain coordinated to Christmas music and the Christmas story...

Indoor waterpark fun with Brody and Blake...

Brody, Ella, Ledger, and Blake on another ride...

Hudson learning how to surf...

Water falls and two lazy rivers for Brooklyn, Presley, and Berkley...

We couldn't stay in the hotel forever, especially with the famous downtown Nashville within a few minutes drive, so my mom hired a driver to take us around to all the sites. This donut shop in Nashville came highly recommended...

Downtown Nashville...

A quick stop at the Grand Ole Opry House in the pouring rain...

Country Music Hall of Fame...

Sugar and some of her grandkids...

Eating dinner at one of the best BBQ places in Nashville, Hattie B...

When the fun and 10 days were over, we all parted ways at the airport and started thinking about where we should go for Christmas next year.

Kendall opening her balance beam when we got home from our trip...

Hudson opening his new boxing gloves and punching bag...
