COVID 19 - Week 4 + Easter

Week four of "stay at home" felt a lot like weeks 1-3, except for the fact that it was Spring Break AND Easter. I have to say that Spring Break isn't that exciting when you're not allowed to leave your house. So, we did what we've been doing now for the past month and that was... bike rides and walks around the neighborhood, family basketball games, climbing trees, playing card and board games, baking, watching movies, reading books, etc.

We celebrated Easter the best we could, too. We died eggs, had a fancy tea party breakfast using all of our cute tea cups and plates from grandparents. We hunted for eggs around the house, opened a few gifts, ate tons of junk food (monkey bread, jelly beans, strawberry cake, Reeces peanut butter cups, chocolate eggs, Yorks, etc... it was disgusting really!) The kids have really been awesome through this whole thing!
Dyeing eggs...

Trying to make this Easter fun and special by pulling out all of the "tea party" dishes we own (thank you grandparents!)...

Easter baskets and dyed eggs are ready for the Easter Bunny...

The kids each got an outfit, swim suit, book, game or DVD to share, candy, and money...

B and K couldn't wait to try on their new outfit...

Playing a new card game... Exploding Kittens...

E and B are making us all fat with all the baking they're doing! The monkey bread we ate for breakfast was delicious!... But this strawberry cake was sooooo worth every calorie!

Oh, and after many mishaps, we finally finished caulking and painting the mudroom...
