Our neighborhood took a survey at
the beginning of October to see what people thought of trick-or-treating during
a pandemic and the results were 50/50. For those who wanted to participate, they
sat on their driveways to hand out candy or placed bowls for self-serve. For
those who didn't want to particpate, they kept their house lights out. All
trick-or-treaters were required to wear face masks and social distance. It was
so fun to see our neighbors' creative ideas for candy distribution during this
pandemic... candy slides, clothes lines strung with goodie bags clipped up with
clothespins, and pipe slides. So grateful for those who helped make this
Halloween another great one for our kiddos.
