Ella finished another successful year of preschool at St. Andrew's last week. She absolutely loves going to school and when asked, she'll tell you her favorite thing to do there is to make craft projects. I'm not surprised given that she spends most of her time at home with paper, crayons, glue sticks and scissors. She also loved playing with her friends Gabrielle and Erin, and really loved staying an extra hour twice a month for "Lunch Bunch."
Ella has come a long way since her first day of school back in September. The biggest educational milestone is her ability to now write and sound-out every letter in the alphabet. It's so much fun to do workbooks, word searches, and word building games together while practicing this newfound ability. Of course, the past year hasn't changed her social, friendly, outgoing and silly personality one bit, thank Heaven's.
Ella's last day of school was a pizza party picnic at one of our local parks. She received a very silly duck hat and her preschool diploma...

Got soaking wet playing water games with her classmates...
and snuggled up with one of her good friends, Gabrielle, while drying off and keeping warm...
While Ella was running around the park with her friends, Brooklyn and I ran down hills, chased eachother around the park...
and ate whatever food we could find that was left unattended at the picnic...
