On Friday we went to the Grange Fair. It was our first year to go and it was so much fun. Imagine a small-town carnival with apple pie contests, games, rides, lots of food, and even a Fair Queen Competition. Then, throw in the 4-H aspect and you have tractor parades, pig and cow auctions, awards for the best looking goats, sheep, rabbits, alpacas, etc. It was a trip back in time!
I wish I would have gotten more pictures of all the animals and auctions and things, but I was so worried about stepping in something and even more worried about the girls touching the animals and getting bitten.
