The Finger Lakes Region is full of these gorgeous gorges and Ryan and I were lucky enough to return to the area (kid free) last week and reminisce about the good'ole days when we lived there.
It's been six years since I've been back to the area and not much has changed. It's still one of the most beautiful places on earth and we visited just in time to see the leaves as they were changing colors. We hiked Watkins Glen and Treman Park - two of our favorites in the area - and ate at a few of our favorite restaurants. I think we're going to have to make this an annual trip.
Thanks so much to my in-laws for flying all the way out here to watch the girls for us so we could go on our little get-away! I'm still sick to my stomach that I didn't get any pictures of them with our girls (how do you not get pictures of your kids and their grandparents?), but as Ryan always tells me when I dwell on something for far too long, "let it go." So, thanks again Clark and Christy.
