From 9 am to midnight we went non-stop. We rode rides, met as many Disney characters as we could find, danced in the streets, ate great food, watched a parade, stayed late to see the Fantasmic light show, etc. I think Ella thought she had died and gone to Heaven. In fact, we're already talking about going back again... soon... and this time with dad (the poor guy missed out on all of the fun because he had to work.) I'm not sure who had more fun, though, me or the girls?
Brooklyn couldn't figure out where we were or why she had to take three naps in a stroller instead of in her crib, but I think all of the goodies she ate throughout the day made up for it. She also didn't care so much for the Disney characters she met, which is why she's not picture with very many of them.
Jesse from Toy Story 2 was adorable and so very funny. Ella was so happy to meet a "girl" character and said she wasn't even scared to go up to her by herself.
This picture cracks me up. If only you could have been there. Ella was so in awe of Rosetta, one of the Tinkerbell Faries, that she couldn't even talk. Rosetta asked Ella, "what's your little sister's name?", and Ella just stood there all googlie-eyed. Even Brooklyn looks speechless in this picture. Rosetta was probably the nicest, sweetest, most caring character we met all day. She was awesome... give that girl a raise!
By the middle of the day, Ella was getting really brave and comfortable around the characters. She wasn't scared of Minnie Mouse either. Brooklyn, on the other hand, was clawing at me to get farther away from her.
