The girls and I just returned home from one action-packed week with my family in Huntington Beach, California. In a nutshell... it was awesome! Aside from the beautiful California weather, we stayed at the most beautiful hotel, played on the nearly empty beach, rode down the water slides at the hotel pool, roasted s'mores in fire pits at night, spent 15 hours at the happiest place on Earth (see post below), ate at the most delicious restaurants in town and rode bikes down the Newport Beach boardwalk. Like I said, it was awesome.

Ella LOVED the ocean.

Brooklyn LOVED the double stroller Sugar bought before we left. She would sit in it even while we were in our hotel room.

Roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.

Brooklyn thought roasting the marshmallow was fun, but wasn't interested in eating anything but the graham crackers.

Brooklyn finally got off the beach towel and stepped foot on the sand, which was shocking. She hated the sand in the beginning, but by the end of the week she was having a ball along with everyone else.
