Aside from Kendall throwing a fit on the sidelines and refusing to go in to the game, we had a serious logistical issue this season. We were told at sign up that the girls would be playing at different times, but when the girls' coaches sent us the schedule we found out that wasn't really true. In fact, the three girls are all playing at the same time but in three different locations. Not physically possible when there's just two parents. Luckily, our old neighbor Mr. Posey (and former soccer coach, to boot) offered to help us out and be our third parent.
Now, if we could just get little Miss Stinker Buns on the field and stop wasting our time. I will say, in her defense, she is by far the youngest kid on the team, and nearly a foot shorter than all of her teammates, and opposing team. At one point she told me she was scared to play. We've got to toughen her up and turn her loose cause I know she could really kick some butt out there! And if athletic ability doesn't work, she could just scream at them cause heaven knows she's got that mastered!
Yay! We scored!
How great is this picture of Brooklyn scoring a goal?!
Kendall is by far the smallest girl..
Getting some pre-game advice from her coach...
Ella still loves being goalie, but she's great on the field, too...
