Journey to Never-never Land

Well, not quite, but sometimes, when we go visit our Asay cousins, it feels like we are in Never-never Land. We always have a great time when we go and we get stuffed with the most delicious food. This time, Ashley was out visiting from California. Yes, funny, isn't it. Her name is Ashley Asay, too. Although, she's married now, so her last name is no longer Asay. AND... she's expecting her first baby - A BOY!

It was another cold wintery day. As we were crossing over the Delaware Bridge, one side of the water was large sheets of ice... 

The other side was was completely covered in snow. It looks like land, not water... 

Aunt Shelley was in the kitchen cooking up yummy stuff when we arrived... 

Hudson, Ryan, Connor, and Uncle Layne were just chillin... 

Ashley, baby bump, and Brooklyn were snuggled up together keeping warm...

Aunt Shelley took the kids next door to meet the dog she was dog sitting. Even though it was absolutely freezing outside, the kids were so excited about walking the dog. It doesn't make me want a dog any more than before, but at least I know the kids would be capable of walking it in the winter... 

We brought Flat Stanley along with us for a change of scenery... 

 Just before heading out the door and back on the road towards home, we needed a family picture to send home with Flat Stanley so he would remember all of us when he gets back to Arizona...
