Spring Soccer 2019

Spring soccer begins... but doesn't last long for one rollerblading girl...

Game time for this boy! Go Black Panthers...

Ready to start another great season... go Soul!...

Two games into the soccer season, Brooklyn broke her wrist rollerblading down "suicide hill" (which is what some of the teenage boys who used to live in the houses in our cul-de-sak used to call the hill leading down to our house... for many reasons). She was speeding down the hill towards our house when she spotted our neighbor Mr. Couch coming towards her. She rolled right into the grass thinking that would stop her and prevent her from colliding with him, but her skate caught the grass wrong and she went down on her wrist. I figured she probably just bruised or sprained it, but by the next morning she was still in tears it hurt so bad. So, with Ryan's insistence, I got her in to see the pediatrician who sent her to the orthopedic. One xray later and she was picking out the color of her cast!...
