Winding Down

Our days in Arizona are winding down. We're leaving Pinetop tomorrow to head back to Mesa and then we're off on our five hour flight back to PA. It's been a long month full of fun, food, family, golf and tennis lessons, crafting, hiking, horseback riding, thunder storms and rain, softball on the golf course, etc. I feel like we've been going non stop since we arrive a month ago, but it's actually been pretty relaxing to be here at the cabin. I'm dreading the heat and humidity back at home, but am also looking forward to seeing Ryan again and winding down summer to get ready for Fall.

It seems like forever ago that we left PA. Here's how we left things...
Counting down the days before we left to come here.
Ella asked me to take a picture of those "weird trees" when we arrived in AZ.
Making cake pops for the 4th of July.
Ryan jumping in to help out.
At one point there were 10 kids under the age of 10 at the cabin. That equals a lot of craziness.
Aunt Lisa and Ella hanging out together while working on their electronic devices. I think they're actually playing a game against each other.
Oh how we missed Cave and Presley when they left the cabin to head back to the valley. Cave couldn't keep his hands or lips off of Kendall. Lots of kissing going on between cousins. Ok for now, not ok later. =-)
Brody put on a scavenger hunt for all of the kids one night. Each time they found a clue, they found a bag of goodies to go with it... candy, stickers, sunglasses, necklaces, firecrackers, etc. The kids had so much fun running inside and out of the cabin looking for the goodies and the next clue.
 Nice glasses girlfriend.
All of the kids showing off their scavenger hunt loot.
Uncle H lighting firecrackers for the kids one night.
And, of course, dancing with them.
One year olds should not be playing with firecrackers, I'm pretty sure.
The zip line at the country club.
Brooklyn taking Kendall for a ride. I love the way Kendall is hanging on for dear life.
A quick swing on our way over to the rec center for some crafting.
